Mindful movement followed by meditation. Hatha is an old yoga practice that refers to balancing the energies of sun and moon, or in Sanskrit terms, prana and apana, inhaling and exhaling. Each inhale breath you take has the quality of an upward expanding, opening into the unknown. When connected to the rooting, grounding, stabilizing pattern of the exhale, the mind is spontaneously moved through meditative states to leave you feeling refreshed and clear -- mindfulness in motion.
